Westminster, United Kingdom Peabody Full time

Our Vacancy
As a Finance Business Partner, you’ll report to the Group Repairs & DLO Finance Manager and take ownership of delivering high-quality management information and financial support to stakeholders across our Property Services function. You’ll work hand in hand with operational teams to ensure financial resources are used effectively and strategically across responsive, planned, void, and capitalised repairs.

**You’ll play a key part in budget setting, forecasting, and financial reporting, driving improvements in financial governance - especially in areas such as disrepair cases and legal settlements. Your work will enable data-led decisions by providing accurate, timely insights and helping budget holders understand performance, risks, and opportunities. By actively engaging with operational and commercial colleagues, you will help ensure systems and processes capture cost and performance clearly, supporting robust cost-to-value assessments across key workstreams.

You’ll enjoy working collaboratively with other teams and using your influence when working with others. You’ll be monitoring contractor and DLO spend, assessing value for money in areas such as in-house vs outsourced delivery, and supporting operational accountability through clear reporting and analysis. You’ll also contribute to financial training across teams, promoting best practice and empowering budget holders with the tools and understanding they need.

**You’ll need to be in the office for a minimum of 2 days per week and the remaining time you’ll be able to work remotely.**

To succeed, you will have a background in financial business partnering, ideally in housing or a related field, and be experienced in all aspects of management accounting including accounts production, forecasting, and budget management. You’ll be a clear communicator with the ability to tailor messages for different audiences and have the confidence to both support and challenge stakeholders as needed. Attention to detail, strong organisation skills, and a focus on data quality are key, as is a commitment to accuracy under tight deadlines.
- _If you’re ready to go beyond the numbers and play a strategic role in shaping the future of housing services, we want to hear from you.

**To be successful in this role, you're**:

- Experienced in financial business partnering, ideally within housing, property services, or a related operational environment
- Skilled in all aspects of management accounting, including accounts production, forecasting, and budget management
- A clear and confident communicator, able to adapt your message to suit different audiences
- Comfortable supporting and challenging stakeholders to drive effective decision-making
- Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Focused on data quality, with a commitment to producing accurate, insightful financial information

**You must hold a CCAB accountancy qualification or equivalent, with relevant post-qualification experience, and be committed to continuous professional development.**

Here are just a few of the benefits of working at Peabody:

- 30 days’ annual holiday, plus bank holidays (specific number of days for the role)
- two additional paid volunteering days each year
- flexible benefits scheme, including family friendly benefits and access to a discount portal
- 4 x salary life assurance
- up to 10% pension contribution

**Are you ready to apply?**

**Interviews will be taking place week commencing 21st July 2025.**

**PLEASE NOTE: As an employer, Peabody does not provide sponsorship as a licenced UK employer.
