The Finance & Business Analyst reports to the Deputy Director Finance Business Partnering - Business Development and Delivery and will analyze data, conduct in-depth financial analysis, and provide insights and recommendations to support business decisions and drive growth and profitability.ResponsibilitiesDevelop an understanding of company and division objectives, both financial and strategic.Prepare Board reports and support the presentation of financial information.Act as a problem‑solver, using multifaceted approaches to improve efficiency and drive company objectives, including developing AI‑supported use cases to automate administrative tasks.Assist with projects such as business plans for tender processes, ROI analysis, financial modelling with Excel, budget preparation (capex or opex reviews) and further initiatives outside traditional role definitions.Lead or assist the FBP team on P&L variance analysis, forecast or scenario analysis, balance sheet working‑capital optimization, or cash‑flow statement analysis.Help the business make financially sound decisions in procurement, supply chain, design/R&D, and project management processes.Collaborate with operations to conduct capex post‑mortem reviews and increase forecast accuracy.Support standardisation and performance‑management initiatives such as procurement performance, savings, and supplier rationalisation.Continuously learn and apply new skills to keep up with the fast‑paced dynamics of our business.QualificationsTrack record of using AI to automate analysis and processes.Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.Excellent Excel skills and experience with financial systems and reporting tools (SAP, Power BI, Oracle EPM).Professional accounting qualification (e.g. CPA, ACCA, CIMA) preferred.Experience in multiple finance functions such as business partnering, commercial finance, and FP&A; prior exposure in the media industry or a publicly listed company beneficial.Capacity to think out of the box.Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.Proactive, results‑driven, and able to prioritise well in a fast‑paced environment.We’re Committed To Diversity & InclusionWe believe in building a diverse and inclusive culture and a positive employee experience.
