**About the Department**:
The Directorate of Marketing, Student Recruitment and Admissions leads on recruitment and admissions across all categories of students, from foundation year to the doctoral school, and supports the whole School in achieving our student recruitment targets.

About the Role

The Events Officer will project manage public affairs and University events like Graduation and Welcome Week. Events will involve senior SOAS officials, like the Director and Pro-Directors, students and welcoming the public. They will manage senior external contacts in order to facilitate successful events and networking between SOAS, its stakeholders and other organisations at a senior level. The Events Officer's time will be dedicated to School wide events involving the Directorate, Marketing, Recruitment, International Office and academic departments. They will ensure that the events at SOAS are well planned, executed and delivered to the highest standards.

**About you**:
We are looking for someone interested in Events, creative with the ability to problem-solve and lead on projects. You will need to be resilient and adaptable to work on some evening events.
