**FRONT OF HOUSE - LEADERSHIP POSITION**
**JOB DESCRIPTION**:
Posh Nosh is one of the leading outside catering companies in Northern Ireland, catering for some of Northern Irelands most exciting events.We are seeking a motivated and experienced **Banqueting Leader**to join our dynamic catering team. This role is central to ensuring the smooth delivery of banqueting events, from small private functions to large-scale corporate and wedding catering. You will be responsible for supervising front-of-house service teams, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining operational excellence during all catered events.

**Report to : FOH Manager**
**KEY DUTIES**:
- To ensure successful running of events to include: set up, on the day client relationship management, efficient delivery
- To assist the Front of house manager on all tasks needed for the successful running of the business
- Supervise and coordinate all aspects of banqueting service before, during, and after events.
- Ensure all event setups are completed according to function sheets and client specifications.
- Handle any guest or client queries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
- Successfully lead events, ensuring all members of staff are aware of their duties.
- Lead, train, and motivate service staff to deliver high standards of service. Monitor presentation and service flow throughout the event.
- Ensure a high level of service is performed by all members of your team to ensure a seamless event.
- Oversee post-event breakdown and ensure proper storage, cleanliness, and reset of service areas.
- Assist in inventory checks and ordering of supplies relevant to banqueting operations.
**REQUIRED SKILLS**
- Proven experience in a similar role in hospitality, catering, or events, in a leadership role.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, train and develop other team members
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, positive client management skills.
- High attention to detail and strong organisational and problem solving skills.
- A solid knowledge of various service styles.

- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
- Full clean driving licence
**Desirable Qualities**:
- Calm under pressure and adaptable to changing event dynamics.
- Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding guest experiences.
- Experience working with high-volume banquets or large-scale events.
