**Night Care Assistants (Richmond)**
Working within our Homemead Care Home in Teddington (Richmond)

**Salary**: £18,502 per annum (FTE)
- Permanent, full-time

**The Offer**
Our Night Care Assistants salary is £18,502 per annum for 37 hours of work, which is three shifts of 12 hours and 20 minutes each.
Whilst our headline hourly rate is £9.59 per hour that includes a one hour paid break each day. The hourly rate for hours actually worked is therefore higher, £10.44 per hour of work.
Additional shifts are generally available for which we offer an enhanced rate of pay. We also offer double time for all bank holidays.
We can be flexible to accommodate other lengths of shift, for example covering our busiest times.

We also sponsor our care colleagues in various apprenticeship programmes from Adult Care Worker Level 2, up to Level 5 diploma qualifications in care management - depending on their roles.

**About you**
You will need:
Good communication skills
Basic literacy and numeracy skills
To be compassionate and patient
Ideally some experience in a caring industry, for example hospitality or schools
To pass our DBS check
Even better if you have previous experience of a care environment, providing personal care or knowledge of dementia.
**Have you received your vaccinations?**
As you would be aware, effective 11 November 2021, being vaccinated has become a legal condition to be employed in any care home setting in UK. You will be asked during interview and if successful, please ready to show the required proof.
