Network HR have partnered with a global leading financial services firm based in the Midlands who are looking to hire a Senior HR Business Partner on a permanent basis. You will partner ExCo stakeholders and drive a commercial and operational agenda acrossa client group of c.250 individuals in multiple divisions and locations. A meaty generalist position that will play a key role in driving a cultural change, performance improvement programme and will take the lead on legislative compliance with support froma well invested HR/Senior Leadership team.
Role: Senior HR Business Partner
Location: Birmingham or surrounding areas

**Salary**: c.£60-65,000 + £4560 car allowance and discretionary bonus.
Key responsibilities will include:

- Provide strategic direction and initiatives to optimise performance and organisational design
- Manage the HR shared services function (x2 direct reports) and drive process improvements, SLA’s and efficiencies
- Further develop the culture, promoting the core values and behaviours including EDI and employee engagement
- Provide insight and act as a key driver for the HR team objectives and priorities aligned to the UK business
- Lead the development, review and implementation of HR policies and initiatives as appropriate and contribute to the development of the HR function to support the needs of the business
- Provide assistance with resourcing, training & succession planning
- Lead and assist with HR project work and initiatives as appropriate
- Monitor and deal with all employee relations matters including disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, flexible working requests, absence cases, maternity/paternity and parental leave matters
- Ensure a commercial understanding of each business area and build a rapport with the relevant stakeholders
- Seek to reduce absence, turnover and increase employee engagement/retention in line with the HR and UK business targets
- Provide feedback and coaching to managers on individual leadership and behavioural skills as appropriate
- Demonstrate knowledge and awareness of FCA procedures and legal requirements
- Coach and mentor HR Administrators and HRBP’s where relevant
- Provide assistance to the Head of HR UK & Ireland, as appropriate, together with cover to the rest of the HR team
What you will need:

- Financial/Professional services career background will be mandatory for this appointment
- Experience of operating in a generalist capacity
- High level stakeholder management
- Excellent communication/written skills
