We are seeking a detail-oriented and organised Plant & Fleet Administrator to join our team to be responsible for assisting with the efficient management of the plant and fleet operations, ensuring that the vehicles, machinery, and equipment are well maintained, complaint with safety regulations and operationally effective. The role involves administrative support, scheduling and tracking for the fleet and plant equipment while ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- **Fleet Management**: Assisting with the scheduling, maintenance and repair of all company vehicles and fleet equipment, ensuring they are in good working order.
- **Plant Equipment Management**: Track, schedule and manage the maintenance and repair of all plant equipment to minimize downtime and ensure safety compliance
- **Scheduling**: Coordinate and schedule maintenance, inspections and repairs for vehicles and equipment, ensuring mínimal disruption to operations.
- **Compliance & Safety**: Ensure all vehicles and equipment are in compliance with company safety policies, industry regulations and legal requirements. Maintain records of inspections, licences and certifications
- **Reporting & Documentation**: Maintain detailed logs and reports for fleet and plant equipment, including maintenance history, costs and service schedules. prepare regular reports on the status of vehicles, machinery and equipment.
- **Vendor Coordination**: Liaise with external service providers and vendors for repairs, hire, maintenance and purchasing of fleet and plant equipment.
- **Cost Management**: Monitor and track fleet and plant related expenses, ensuring cost effective solutions are being implemented.
- **Support Operations**:Assist with general administrative duties related to plant and fleet operations, including data entry, filing and correspondence

Qualifications & Experience:

- A minimum of one years’ experience of working in a similar role that involved the following:

- Fleet or plant operations
- Similar administrative role
- Confident IT user; experience of using software for efficiency will be an advantage
- Knowledge of fleet maintenance, plant equipment and safety regulations
- A Valid Driving licence is preferred

- Highly organised, with ability to prioritise workload and meet deadlines.
