HR Advisor

**HR Advisor | Human Resources Department | CIPD Level 5 | Harpenden | Full Time, Permanent | Free Parking, Excellent Benefits**

Spire Cardiff Hospital are looking to bring on a HR Advisor within their established team to support the business with advice and guidance, providing expert HR advice, coaching and mentoring to Spire colleagues and line managers and improving managers' confidence to deal with day to day first line HR queries.

The Human Resources Function is the focal point for all employee related activities across the site. You will take full ownership of the HR Process for the Hospital including Employee Relations, Induction, Training, Reporting, Absence Management and Supporting our Senior Management Team in a range of capacities.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- Supporting the local delivery and implementation of Spire's people strategy with guidance and support from the Regional Head of People
- Lead the hospital on boarding activities for all new joiners and support managers and new-starters through probation periods within the required timescales, providing advice and guidance
- Be the initial point of contact for all HR matters and provide high quality consistent HR advice in line with Spire policy, procedure and best practice
- Manage the adherence to all HR policies and procedures, coaching, advising and training where required to ensure maximum understanding and implementation across the business
- Carry out any other duty that reasonably falls within the general nature and level of responsibility of the post

**Who we're looking for**:

- Strong administration skills is a must '“ Must be experienced in MS Office and navigating / interpreting data
- Must have previous experience being in a HR Generalist Advisor role.
- An independent and motivated individual '“ this position will be a very much '˜stand-alone' role located at the hospital
- Someone who is able to manage their time effectively, who works on their own initiative and has great attention to detail
- CIPD Level 5 qualification is **essential.**
