**The Role**: Commercial Sales Graduate

**Location: Hybrid -** Hemswell, DN21 5TU - Onsite 2 days a week max

**Shift Pattern/Working Hours**: Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5pm

**Salary**: £30,000 + Company Car (Bonus implemented after year 1)

We are the UK's largest and most technically advanced PET bottle recycling plant, we play a critical role in ensuring we continue provide environmental friendly packaging solutions to our customers. We are actively seeking for motivated people to join our team as an operative at our large dynamic site in Hemswell.

As a Commercial Sales Graduate, you will embark on a 3 year development journey with CTUK to enhance your skills and build your experience. CTUK will commit to providing you with an in-depth understanding of the commercial department.

This is a new role within the business ideally suited for new Graduate looking to start their career, full training will be provided.

**Main Purpose of the role**:
Working within the sales sector of the business, liaising with Customer Services and also the procurement function to develop, procure and sell the recycled products and materials generated on site.

**Key responsibilities will include**:

- Client Management - Daily point of contact for clients. Offer industry insights, keep on top of contact reports, and lead weekly client calls and agree actions.
- Form relationships with the key lead markets and understand where they are within their planning cycles at all times.
- Establish a good working relationship with clients - liaising with them on projects and activity as their key point of day-to-day contact and leading on account management, including meetings and status calls
- Prepare presentations and case studies for clients and new business purposes
- Prospect for new business - Identifying and prospecting for new client leads and utilising existing industry contacts to develop new business
- Attending networking functions and representing the company appropriately
- Negotiating contracts and closing deals
- Planning and Administration - Quarterly/annual reviews and plans; develop campaign proposals, creative development, lead brainstorms, expert account management, hit deadlines and attend team/client meetings.

**To be successful in the role, you will require**:

- Good communication skills
- Strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with an enthusiasm for clients
- Durable organisational, administrative and time management skills
- Articulating themselves to clients and internally persuasively and clearly through presentations, documents and in meeting
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient computer skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint are required

**Knowledge & Experience**
- This is a new Graduate role, no experience necessary, we will provide full training and a training plan to cover the next 12-36 months development.
- A desire to learn and understand the recycling industry.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in business, or equivalent
