A fantastic opportunity has become available at Leonardo Helicopters to work as a Programme Controller. This is a great role for someone with excellent problem solving skills and thrives in a fast pace environment.

As a programme controller, you will be required to support the management of the customer, understanding their real needs & time-scales, negotiating changes required due to schedule movement or additions to the agreed statement of work.

Please note this is a Job Family Frame Level 6.

**What you will be doing as a Programme Controller**
- To ensure all Programme / Project requirements & schedule are clearly communicated to supply areas.
- To support the monthly report on the status of each programme to include programme arrears, arrears recovery, identifying risks/opportunities
- New Product Introduction - To support the co-ordination of activities within all areas including Manufacturing Engineering, Operations clearly setting priorities & sequencing when clashes occur & managing the customer responses
- Forecasting deliveries via weekly review meetings & Managing & deliveries teams
- Clearly identifying priorities where appropriate & managing conflict where it occurs
- To manage the relationship with customers both internal & external
- To work closely with Engineering & the Programme Managers to classify, prioritise & progress identified projects
- Contribute to business improvement activities to achieve a common, standard approach throughout the business
- Analyse & report on actual versus planned versus budget costs by platform including preparation of monthly reports

**_ What we need from you:_**
- Knowledge of MRP, bills of material & routings
- Computer literate with an understanding of Microsoft Office, ECC 6.0, knowledge of macro’s an advantage
- Good mathematical skills and ability to assimilate large volumes of data
- Understanding of Transmissions products and manufacturing processes including generation & use of set & run times an advantage
