As a VP - Front Office Tax, you will have the opportunity to join a global financial services business, focusing on strategic initiatives such as acquisitions, disposals, reorganisations and joint ventures. Key responsibilities: Analysing the after-taxcosts and any associated tax risks on the strategic initiatives, managing external stakeholders and ensuring governance requirements are met. Developing contacts and an understanding of business conducted in EMEA location, reviewing and providing tax technicaladvice on existing flows/structures/documentation, considering potential changes that may be considered appropriate and whether referrals to reputational risk committees required. Providing support in managing the potentially contentious tax issues. Managingand dealing with queries from regulators and tax authorities within the EMEA region and developing an overarching framework to respond to such queries. Analysing the impact of potential changes to funding flows/shareholding structures proposed by the Treasuryfunction, working closely with tax treasury specialists in regional teams. Discussing technical tax issues and potential law changes with senior business partners both within and outside of tax department. Skills & experience required: Strong tax technicalskills with a focus on UK tax and European Tax Stakeholder management skills Demonstrate proven Project management skills Team player combined with results-oriented approach and outstanding interpersonal, communication skills Dedication to fostering an inclusiveculture and value diverse perspectives
