Hire Desk Controller

**Summary**
Stuart Energy are one of the leading independent generator hire and sales providers in the UK, with over forty years of experience in the industry. We are looking to recruit an experienced Hire Controller to join our customer services team at our head office in Skelmersdale.
The role of the Hire Controller is crucial to the success of our business. You will be involved at all stages of the customer experience, from taking an initial phone call or request, understanding the customers requirements, raising quotations, coordinating the correct equipment with our workshop teams, arranging suitable transport and booking an electrical team to install the equipment if required. Then processing all associated documents and procedures on our systems to ensure we are compliant with our obligations. Excellent customer service, communication and organisational skills are essential for this role.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Planning and booking transport using our own and external hauliers.
- Planning and booking electrical installation jobs using our own and external electrical teams.
- Planning and booking equipment in line with the daily requirements.
- Raising hire contracts, customer quotations, processing invoices along with all associated paperwork and processes. A good eye for details is required to ensure all systems are kept up to date and free from errors.
- Communicating effectively in a fast-paced environment with other members of staff including the hire, sales and accounting teams.
- Effective communication with the workshop teams is essential to ensure equipment is serviced, fully tested and available when required.
- Excellent communication and exceptional customer service skills are essential at all stages of the hire and sales processes to ensure our clients have the best possible experience. This is crucial in line with the sales teams to maintain existing clients and take advantage of any new opportunities.
- Accurate control of company assets and stock.

Pay: £30,000.00-£34,000.00 per year
