A leading supplier of construction products is looking to expand its team with a Hire Controller in the Wigan area. This is a great opportunity to grow a construction-based career with development and support.

They are looking for a Hire Controller to come in and coordinate the rental process. This person will be the main point of contact for customer queries, and will manage all phases from customer service, to scheduling and logistics through to billing and payments. This includes assisting with the management of projects, which includes dealing with customer requirements from quoting, ordering, deliveries, handling returns and project closing.

Someone with previous experience in the hire/construction industry would be ideal.

**The Role**:

- Manage invoices and resolve any disputes/credit requests.
- Maintain data quality of delivery dates and return dates with sales and customers.
- Support sales team with customer quotes, order confirmations and other project related requirements
- Place material reservations and ensure timely update and communication to the Logistics team.
- Check-in on-hand and reconditioning stocks and coordination with Logistics to source intercompany for on-time delivery to customers.
- Ensure client satisfaction by coordinating deliveries and returns in collaboration with the yard.
- Arrange transportation and co-ordination with haulage companies, checking transport invoices and transport recovery.
- Administrative duties to support the successful functioning of the branch including answering the phones and welcoming visitors etc.
- Maintain an accurate and up to date filing system.
- Ensure health and safety legislation/policies are adhered to at all times.
