Following the successful mobilization of a new contract, our Birmingham Response team are looking for a tenacious **Planner/Scheduler** to schedule residential repairs works across Birmingham and Nottingham.

Based within our operational team in Birmingham, you will enjoy the dynamics of working within a **vibrant,** **fast paced and sometimes pressurized environment, working to SLAs and KPIs effectively managing the diaries of our inhouse trade operatives.**

You will have a real impact working as a Planner/ Scheduler by providing excellent customer service internally and externally, whilst optimizing the delivery of our repairs service through effective scheduling. By achieving this excellence, together with your team, you will be contributing to the success of Birmingham response.

**Please note during your induction period and on occasions beyond this, there will be a requirement to travel and collaborate closely with our clients' helpdesk team based in Boston, Lincolnshire. Expenses for this, will be covered.**

**The Planner/Scheduler role**

You will manage the scheduling of reactive repairs and emergencies within domestic properties, consulting with the Business and Contract Managers, the customers/residents, and our client, to ensure the best service delivery possible. Specifically, this will involve:

- Using our dynamic scheduling system, you will manage operative diaries to ensure responsive repairs are booked in efficiently, within agreed timescales whilst keeping operatives fully utilized.
- Managing the emerging day, dealing with emergencies and exceptions, to ensure the most appropriate service can be delivered to our residents and recorded correctly on our systems.
- You will input up to date, accurate and complete notes for each job/task on the system following everything through it its timely completion.

**What will you bring as a Planner/Scheduler?**
- You will have demonstrable scheduling, customer service or relatable organizational/planning experience. Ideally this will be from within FM or the Property Services sector, but this is not essential, we will consider all industry backgrounds.
- Strong IT skills with the aptitude to pick up new systems and be able to follow processes
- An excellent communicator with the strength of character to make decisions and follow them through to completion and satisfaction.
- **You will value ‘getting it right’ and take genuine pride in achieving your performance targets.**
