Mill / Intake Operative

SIGN ON BONUS OF £150 after successfully completing probationary period, plus a further £150 3 months later.

As Mill / Intake Operative, reporting to theWarehouse Supervisor, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
Receiving delivery of all raw materials (bulk & bagged) & Packaging.

Conducting visual inspections on each batch of the bagged ingredients passing/rejecting as appropriate against the standard and retaining samples for our records.

Conducting magnet checks on a percentage of the delivery of all bagged/tote bagged meat meals and fish meals.

Conducting visual inspections on all primary packaging deliveries ensuring they have been correctly printed.

Ensuring wheat and barley are milled and ready for production requirements.

Any other task as required by the management team.

The successful applicants will ideally have previous warehouse / intake experience. The ideal applicant will have a counterbalance forklift & reach truck licenses as well as have a basic understanding of computers; however, training in all these areas will be provided if required.

The applicant must be prepared to work a 2 shift rotation. Monday to Friday 6am to 2pm / 2pm to 10pm.
