Emerging Futures are looking to recruit a passionate and dedicated Housing and Business Administrator to join our growing team across East and West Sussex.

Emerging Futures delivers ground-breaking projects nationally including substance misuse recovery services, coaching, and volunteering opportunities, behaviour change programmes and housing to vulnerable adults.

As the Housing & Business Administrator, you will provide administrative, financial and data systems support to our projects across West and East Sussex. You will directly support our team of Housing Project Workers and community team leaders to keep finance and client case management systems up to date and fully functioning.

You will provide high quality business & finance support to the Area Service Manager by implementing effective business and corporate processes to support delivery. It is essential you are extremely organised, have high levels of IT skills, good interpersonal skills, and a willingness to work flexibly as part of a team.

- **What you will be doing**_
- Implementing and actively managing systems to collate, monitor and report data accurately and in a timely manner including supporting staff with Inform case management system.
- Coordinating staff pay and expense submissions on a monthly basis including monitoring sickness and absence levels.
- Working with the housing teams to ensure claims are made for Housing Benefit and resident contribution payments are received.
- Monitoring the service budgets, ensuring monthly reporting of spend against budget.
- Leading on external communications for East and West Sussex, specifically social media, and other media sources and platforms.
- Working with the National Housing and Property Lead to ensure health and safety compliance for West Sussex Housing projects including resolving minor repair issues and putting systems in place for timely and cost-effective maintenance of properties.
- Supporting with the organisation of staff rotas across West Sussex housing projects, ensuring there is adequate cover at all times.

- Experience of maintaining data bases and other data management systems.
- A clear understanding of confidentiality and boundaries.
- Experience of general office procedures and administrative duties.
- Evidenced expertise in working with WORD, EXCEL, and ACCESS IT packages.
- Ability to construct well-formed reports and effectively use data collection systems and translate data output in to meaningful, clear information.
- Willingness to be a central part of a multidisciplinary team and take the lead on ensuring administrative systems are effectively and used correctly.
- Employ a mature, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude towards our stakeholders
