**What will you be doing?**:

- Operating with the full End to End software testing lifecycle to ensure defects are kept at an absolute minimum across both Functional and Automated Testing
- Ability to advise on tooling usage and effectiveness
- Understanding Agile and ability to reduce feedback cycle for developers to enable superior code quality
- Assisting in construction of testing frameworks
- Building testing tools with modern tools and practices e.g., Cypress & Contract Testing
- Working to facilitate E2E testing within a Test/ Behaviour Driven Development environment
**What we're looking for**:

- Demonstrable experience with test automation with development of at least one automation framework using JAVA/ Dot Net
- Experience programming in Java, and automation libraries (like Selenium, Appium, RestAssured, TestComplete, Postman, SoapUI)
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins) and Intermediate knowledge of SQL
- Coach less experienced team members on test processes, systems and tools
**Skills that will help you in the role**:

- Experience of working within Financial Services
- ISEB/ ISTQB Software Testing Foundation Certificate
- Hands-on knowledge of test tools like JIRA used in test management and defect reporting
**Where will you be working?**
You will be based in Radbroke, Knutsford. The Barclays Technology Campus just outside Manchester is our tech command centre and a vital strategic powerhouse behind our global operations.
