Absolute Executive Search are partnered with a well-established and reputable Manufacturing Company based in Dartford.

You will be responsible for, goods-in, stores, kitting, all aspects of production, maintenance, housekeeping, and production planning/scheduling and provide information and feedback to sales in order to satisfy the customer requirements. The role gives completecontrol over the production process, from orders in, following up with purchasing, checking and advising on parts into stock, manufacturing products on time, giving feedback to sales (indirectly to the customer) and to set quality standards in accordance withcustomers' requirements.

To manage stock (feedback to purchasing on stock holding recommendations) to meet customers' demands without delays, to improve lead times, and communication with the sales team. With the backing of the Operations Director, control of stock, factory andmanufacturing staff, the Manufacturing Manager is uniquely positioned to push forward with further efficiencies and to improve manufacturing capabilities.

**Responsibilities**:

- Responsible and accountable for manufacturing - from goods in, storage of the goods (stores), issuing the goods (kitting), producing the products, closing off the production of the goods ready for despatch.
- Responsible for all staff and duties in the associated areas.
- Manufacture products efficiently, on budget, to set quality standards and on time.
- Reduce lead times while keeping production flexible in order to meet customer expectations.
- Monthly reporting to the senior management team, based on key objectives.
- Prioritise workload accordingly to maintain deadlines.
- Analyse output against forecasted plans to track performance, identifying any problem areas and opportunities to improve efficiencies.
- Communicate between production and sales team to ensure lead times are achieved and customers are made aware of any possible delays.
- Allocation of goods in, to ensure manufacturing continuity.
- Create reports detailing manufacturing, materials and capacity requirements for the factory.
- Responsible for stores and stock related matters - Stock control, stock rotation, stocktake.
- Responsible for compliance with quality control systems (LIAQA), Rohs & Reach and product testing for CE and UKCA certification.

**Requirements**:

- Qualification in the field of production or similar field related to the job requirement.
- More than 5 years' experience in a fast-paced manufacturing facility.
- Knowledge and practical implementation experience in production controls (e.g. Lean manufacturing, etc).
- Understands and operates in an environment familiar with KPI's (key performance indicators).
- Take control of the manufacturing supply chain.
- Ensure the required KPI's are cascaded throughout your area of responsibility in line with company requirements.
- Performance appraisals and one on ones are conducted on time and are proven to be effective.
- Ensure a professional level of management and leadership is maintained.
- The ability to juggle and prioritise many different requirements bringing order into your area of responsibility.

Monday to Friday - Office Based.

Salary up to £58,000
