Great NPD, Food Innovation, and Product Launch RoleMid-size company is diverse food product portfolio within EPD and NPDAbout Our ClientThis opportunity is with a well-established Food manufacturer based in Dartford Kent, known for its innovative approach and commitment to quality. Operating as part of a medium-sized team, the company focuses on delivering exceptional products to its customers.Job DescriptionCollaborate on customer tenders with Commercial, Category, Procurement, and Technical teams; ensure all stakeholders are informed, briefs are managed, and deadlines met.Work across functions (Technical Managers, Account Managers, Category Insights, Packaging) to develop new offerings and support trials as needed.Stay updated on market trends, emerging technology, legislation, and industry standards.Oversee NPD sampling, specifications, and coordination with Customer Technologists.Partner with NPD Technologists to develop new production methods and trial new processing techniques, machinery, hand processing, and packing.Ensure smooth flow of new products through trials and production, identifying areas for development.Launch new products to agreed timelines.Identify and communicate production best practices to teams via guides, specifications, and meetings.Conduct regular benchmarking of our products and competitor products.Lead at least one Product Innovation Day annually with Category Insights, Packaging, and Procurement teams.The Successful ApplicantA successful NPD Manager should have:2-7 Years of proven experience in product development or product launch/ project management within the FMCG industry.Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.Experience in food innovation with a proven track record of collaborating across cross-functional teams, including R&D, Technical, Compliance, Supply Chain, Packaging, and Marketing.Excellent project management and organisational skills.The ability to analyse market trends and consumer behaviour effectively.Exceptional communication skills for cross-functional collaboration.A results-driven mindset with a focus on innovation and creativity.A relevant degree or equivalent qualification in a related field.What's on OfferCompetitive salary and bonus.GREAT benefits package12 Month Fixed-term contract role, with potential to say on, offering valuable experience in the Food FMCG industry.1-2 Day WFH Flexibility, Standard Office Hours when in Office.Opportunity to work within a collaborative and supportive environment in Dartford Kent.Potential to contribute to exciting and innovative product launches.If you are ready to take on this exciting NPD Manager (Mat Cover) opportunity in Dartford Kent, we encourage you to apply today
