**Responsibilities**:

- Day to day preparation & input of data for payroll production.
- Assistance in processing monthly and weekly payroll ensuring all employees are paid accurately and on time.
- Submitting prepared data to the payroll provider according to the set deadlines.
- Joiner / Leaver administration.
- Absence management / recording.
- Salary / allowance / benefit changes.
- Maintaining statutory obligations (PAYE, NIC, SSP, SMAPP, AEOs, NMW, etc).
- Managing variable pay input, calculation of bonus schedules where appropriate, inbound payment interfaces.
- Ensuring specialist payroll advise is provided to both managers and employees on any payroll related topic; answering employee questions related to payroll.
- Pension administration; Aviva, Nest.
