Business Intelligence Analyst

Unipart Logistics (UL) has secured a contract to run the new, custom-built Jaguar Land RoverGlobal Parts Logistics Centre at Appleby Magna in Leicestershire. The operation will be housed at Jaguar Land Rover’s new Mercia Park campus, one of the largest UK warehouse developments for a single customer. As Business Intelligence Analyst your role will be to support Production Control Management in delivering local onsite systems and to support Business Intelligence and data analytics by working closely with the Production Control Team to ensure all workloadplanning systems are delivered correctly and on time.
**As part of your key responsibilities you’ll**:

- Establish excellent working relationships and partnerships, based on an open two-way communication style
- Support on-site Production Control systems
- Design, develop and maintain onsite reporting mechanisms in line with operational and stakeholder requirements
- Assist with the resource plan and develop detailed resource needs that will meet the changes in business activity ensuring systems and equipment is available in line with requirements
- Support site with incident management logging and initial reporting
- Support the maintenance and allocation of RF Scanning Equipment
- Analyse and maintain accurate and robust daily, weekly, and monthly reporting mechanisms to monitor, control and improve performance
- Enthusiastically pursue own Unipart Way (UPW) goals/targets
- Contribute towards own Gate To Great objectives by assisting in the design/creation of KPIs and Visual Management and through participation in OCCs
- Create and maintain a positive team culture and spirit, encouraging involvement from all team members when sharing group, divisional and team information
- Work with appropriate parties to provide solutions to team issues taking account of the appropriate policies and ethical practices
- Manage customer interfaces and expectations to ensure excellent customer service is received

**About You**
- Demonstrate experience in warehouse operations
- Proven experience of advanced skill level within a WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) (EWM/SAP preferable)
- IT Literate - Google suite, Microsoft packages, advanced Excel, WMS
- Administrative skills, including strong planning, organising and time management skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Problem Solver, that is quality focused and has a keen eye for detail
- Customer focussed

**Contract type**: Full and part time
**Hours**: 08:30 - 17:00 Monday to Friday initially, then early or late shift tbc.
**Salary**: £26,000- £29,100 per annum

Initially you will be working 8:30- 5:30 Monday to Friday but flexibility is needed as the contract grows, some shift work may be required
