**Job description - Finance Graduate Scheme**
In this Finance Graduate Scheme in Berkshire, you'll gain exposure to a broad range of projects and responsibilities across the accounting team. Working closely with your line manager, and being enrolled onto their bespoke graduate training plan, you'll pick up invaluable practical skills and develop your accounting analysis career.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to execute accounting processes, analyse data, ensure compliance and add value to the accounting processes, ultimately ensuring that the financial operations are accurate, compliant, and running like clockwork.

**Key responsibilities - Finance Graduate Scheme**
- In this Junior Finance role in Berkshire, your responsibilities will include:_
- Building a strong understanding of the finance & accounting function by getting involved in varied activities and projects
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records on SAP
- Assisting with the posting of all month/quarter/year-end general ledger journals.
- Reviewing and assessing customer contracts
- Ensuring accrual, deferral and revenue recognition is correct and complete at each reporting period.
- Performing various accounting tasks including balance sheet reconciliations, reviews of P&L and Balance Sheet areas, monthly access cost tasks
- Researching and resolving outstanding items timely with business owners
- Delivering analysis and explanation of month-on-month, year-on-year variances
- Using various digital systems and software to perform a wide variety of analysis
- Investigating process automation opportunities using digital software tools where possible
- Identify and report on opportunities for process improvements
- Getting involved in ad hoc projects as deemed appropriate

**Job requirements - Finance Graduate Scheme**
- A driven graduate from university, with a degree background in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business or similar
- Comfortable analysing data, with previous experience managing and analysing financial data
- Highly numerate
- Driven and ready to learn
- Previous experience in a relevant position in finance is beneficial but not necessary
- Lots of extra-curricular, societal, internship activity on your CV
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a large, complex global team
- Confident communicating with clients and internal teams; reporting and speaking on findings
- The ability to manage multiple client projects at once
- Great administrative skills
- Comfortable with technology (G Suite, Microsoft Office in particular) and learning new systems
- Confident in seeking out opportunities for process improvements
