We are currently working with one of the UK’s leading rail contractors who are looking to expand their Doncaster office by recruiting a Document Controller who will have the opportunity to work on their rail projects in which their typical work bank involves electrification and civils schemes.
As a Document Controller your duties will be and are not limited to:
- Maintain up to date records of all information and ensure that it is available to the team
- Comply with all aspects of the Design Works Instructions and Network Rail Standards
- Issue and distribute controlled copies of information in accordance with the Design / Document Management Plan
- Check information on drawings and documents for compliance
- Liaise with Client, Designers, and specialist suppliers on queries regarding issues of information
- Provide advice to users on how to use the Document management system
- Troubleshooting any problems to do with the Document management system
- Provide advice on procedures of issue and methods of accessing the system
- Liaise with Senior Document Controller in reporting on project submittals
Job Requirements:
- Excellent Computer literacy.
- Willingness to travel and to learn and open minded for new technologies.
- Ability to manage a variety of tasks
- Experienced in a similar role, such a Document Controller or Admin position within Engineering or Rail
- Attention to detail required
**Salary**: £25,000.00 per year
