**Things we’d love to tell you about our Oakthorpe site**
- Our Oakthorpe Dairy produces award winning milk and creams. The site is soon to receive a large investment over the next 18 months, with more on the horizon, making it a great time to join the team
- When Oakthorpe was built, it involved the largest crane in Europe lifting the sterilized plant in which is why the roof is V shaped.
**What will the role look like?**
You will be responsible for providing the day to day support necessary to ensure the delivery of operational targets and farmer payments.
**Other responsibilities include**:
- Responsible for operational standards in the Continuous Improvement area
- Responsible for reduction of planned downtime and increase line speed through data analyses and systematic CI work
- Responsible for enabling and coaching operators and technical operators in operational standards
- Contribute to a healthy, inclusive and safe work environment and role model our character mindset
- Ensure awareness and compliance to quality and food safety requirements within LCO Area
**Area Specialist tasks**:
- Owns, analyses and tracks asset performance data incl. data quality and completeness
- Owns plan for improvement of OEE for line(s)
- Ensures that the Continuous Improvement Areas improvement activities are quantified and reflected in OneCI
- Owns operational standards and corresponding competence development in the Line Team
- Defines, process confirms and improves operational standards including OAC
- Trains & coaches Line Team to ensure performance according to operational standards and secure right use of IT systems
- Optimizes existing processes by regularly conducting Kaizen workshops, relevant analyses and process confirmations
- Coordinate & support implementation of new digital tools, products & ways of working and secure onboarding of Line Team
- Initiates and drives Continuous Improvement initiatives in collaboration with Line Team
- Role models by actively using data and deploying lean and APS tools in a structured way
**Background/experience**
- SE Food Production, DK Dairy Operator KOLD, EDEN or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of LEAN principles and data management
- Excellent IT skills with programs such as Excel. Working knowledge of SAP would be preferred but not essential
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
