Uppingham Surgery is seeking a Patient Services Advisor to join our expanding team, supporting our busy training practice of 12,500 patients located in the picturesque market town, Uppingham, situated just off the A47.

Our Patient Services Team play a significant role in supporting the wider practice team to deliver high quality health care. We are strong advocates of supporting and developing career progression within our organisation.
- Experience in a similar role
- IT skills (Knowledge of SystmOne would be advantageous however full training is provided)
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills; dealing with patients in a conscientious and empathetic manner keeping positive, friendly, calm and be comfortable in reassuring and dealing with worried, anxious and often unwell patients
- Positive and proactive approach to work, with the ability to work under pressure
- Experience of working in a team and using your own initiative
- Ability to abide by strict confidentiality and information governance compliance and the responsibility this brings

**Your main duties and responsibilities will include but not limited to**:

- Telephone, online and face to face contact with patients
- Actively signposting patients to the most appropriate service, clinic, or clinician
- A wide variety of patient related and administrative tasks to support our clinical team

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £11.44 per hour
