Here at GXO, we are currently on the search for a **Warehouse Senior Supervisor** to join our team in Thatcham. You’ll be responsible for the efficient running of the warehouse operations, placing the highest regard on colleague wellbeing, health and safety whilst, meeting the operational KPI’s.

This is a full-time, permanent position, working 5 days from 7, with a hours as 6am to 2:30pm

**Pay, benefits and more**:
We’re looking to offer a salary of up to **£37,000**per annum, and 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays). **What you’ll do on a typical day**:

- Maintain a fully stocked inventory, ensure all shifts are suitably covered and track any daily absences within your team.
- Responsible for the direct supervision and mentoring of DC leadership team within specific areas of the business
- Maintain a continued focus on the DC's financial and operational performance
- Work with the General Manager to drive continuous improvement and efficiency gains to reduce overall cost
- Participate in strategic and business process improvements and operational projects for the distribution network

**What you need to succeed at GXO**:

- Experience leading a team of warehouse colleagues within a large, fast paced warehouse environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong IT skills, including warehouse systems and Microsoft Office
- Previous experience focussing on continuous improvement
