The firm are looking for a proactive Finance Manager to join their collaborativeteam. As a Finance Manager, you will have the opportunity to manage the Accounting and Cashier operations, to ensure that the procedures within the firm are operating efficiently, and this position will be reporting to the Finance Director.
**As a Finance Manager, some of your duties will include;**
- Overseeing the accounting, reporting, cashiering and purchase ledger operations of the firm
- Assisting the Finance Director with fees, cash forecasting and annual budget
- Monitoring income and expenditure against annual budgets, analysing variances and preparing revised budgets
- Preparing monthly management accounts
- Providing accurate and detailed cash-flow projections
- First point of contact for the firms auditors
- Supporting the Finance Director with prepaying year end accounts, balance sheet, profit and loss statements
- Ensuring that the recovery of costs, payment of disbursements, banking and payments to and from Client & Office accounts are in accordance with the Solicitors' Accounts Rules
- Coordinating annual evaluations of WIP and bad debts
- Producing monthly bank reconciliation reports and financial and ledger reports
- Contribute to the development of the firm's financial policies and procedures
- Managing the Finance team and ensuring staff receive appropriate training and development

**To be successful as a Finance Manager, some of the requirements include;**
- Financial and Managerial experience within a Law Firm or professional services setting
- Enthusiastic and able to work with a wide range of people of all levels
- Ability to manage, develop and motivate staff
- Strong communication and work well under pressure
