Our client is currently looking to recruit an Office Administrator to work at its thin-film optical coatings site based in Dundee.
This is a permanent full-time position in a well-established organisation that manufactures products of the highest quality that are supplied globally.
The Position
Reporting directly to the Trade & Compliance Manager, you will perform the following:
- Opening incoming mail and distributing accordingly
- Check and filing of purchase order acknowledgements received
- Supplier delivery notes - checking against PO and filing
- Supplier invoices - inputting on SAP
- Supplier statements - checking to ensure we have the invoices on SAP
- Checking invoices on weekly payment wizards
- Booking shipments with UPS and printing labels for boxes
- Checking/filing of proof-of-deliveries for shipments
- Input sales order on SAP
- Closing/filing sales orders
- Answering the door - receiving any deliveries and/or visitors
- Answer the telephone
- Photocopying/scanning
- Filing/archiving
The Person
Full training will be provided to the successful applicant but we are looking for the following attributes and skills:
- A proactive mindset and a flexible approach to work
- Computer literate and able to learn how to use SAP
- Can follow instructions and eager to perform to a high standard with good attention to detail
- Happy to work in an open office environment
- Basic Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel)
- Comfortable working independently and as part of our team
- Wants to contribute to and benefit from a safe working environment
The Benefits
- 37.5 hour working week (Mon-Fri)
- Base salary commensurate with experience
- 28 day holiday allowance incl. bank holidays
- After 3-month probation period:
- Bonus: Eligible for performance related bonus scheme
- Pension: Up to 6% employee match

**Salary**: £21,500.00 per year
