About The Role

We’re currently recruiting for an Online Specialist - Data to join our Wholesale team based out of Hilmore House in Bradford, on a full-time permanent basis. This role will involve working your full time hours over 4 days a week.

You’ll work closely with all Wholesale teams, playing an integral part in providing data and insight to all aspects of Morrisons Wholesale, from Supply Chain and Operations, to the Trading teams, helping to both drive trade and operational efficiency. Thisis an exciting opportunity as Morrisons looks to grow this area of the business.

What will I do?
- Identify opportunities to deliver data in a more efficient and effective manner, focusing on actionable recommendations that have the customers at the forefront of decision making
- Ensure data/insight requirements from the business are aligned and contributing to online and wider business priorities and strategy
- Work collaboratively with the wider Wholesale team, to unlock data that will lead to increased commercial and operational efficiency
- Respond to business briefs, challenge assumptions in order to establish a clear requirement for the internal team
- Maintain current suite of reports that service the online team, ensuring that all are updated in a timely manner ensuring that all data is accurate

About You

What skills and qualifications do I need?
- A good understanding of the UK grocery, wholesale and convenience markets
- Understanding of E-commerce
- A good understanding of grocery shoppers, needs & behaviours
- At least 2 years analytics experience, preferably in a retail environment
- Experience in SQL coding
- Advanced Excel / Report building via Google Data Studio (desired)
- Desirable: Tableau, Statistical modelling
- Ability to synthesise findings in a clear and concise way
- Passionate about customers
- The ability to manage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the business
- Confident in speaking with customer and colleagues at all levels
- An engaging & clear communicator
- A problem solving approach and able to challenge existing process
- Simplifying technical solutions into customer and business outcomes and vice versa
- Effectively manage and prioritise own workload
