**About Commercial IT**:
Commercial IT is a global IT capability supporting the Commercial organisation. We business partner with Commercial areas: Biopharma, Oncology, International and Japan - and also Rare Disease Unit. We operate out of hubs sites including in the UK, Sweden, US and out of our Global Innovation Technology Centres in India and Mexico - and in markets all over the world.

**Job role**:
The role will ensure that the Commercial IT product suite is coherent and easy to consume for all relevant business units.
The Business Partner will develop key relationships within their business area to build an in-depth understanding of priorities, gaining early insight into changing needs to ensure customers gain appropriate value from IT services, capabilities and innovations.
**Key accountabilities**:
- Build strong relationships with collaborator groups, developing a deep understanding of the short-term and long-term business direction.
- Ensure coherence of experience for markets and other users of the Commercial IT product suite
- Maintain clear view of user archetypes to advise delivery of products, and of product & proposition roadmaps.
- Create & maintain Customer Satisfaction framework for access
- Identify blockers to adoption. Work with relevant teams to develop & implement strategies to overcome/remove those blockers.
- Deliver a coherent access model that improves reuse of the product suite including support & enablement of appropriate marketing autonomy
- Assess and priorities requirements in line with IT strategy.
- Develop business impact assessment, identifying risks and issues that may affect current and future business units and roles, and create business readiness plan
- Develop and maintain performance metrics and proactively identify areas for improvement
- Present and gain commitment to IT initiatives, using specialist knowledge to gain commitment to established or new IT services
- Work collaboratively with:
Business and IT leadership teams and other senior collaborators to build their understanding of IT strategy, programmes and challenges IT Strategy, Portfolio Management and Project/Programme Management to agree the future shape of proposed solutions and initiate projects in partnership Business Engagement and Capability leads to create alignment and identify cross-business innovative opportunities Business analysts to management requirements and build cases Portfolio Managers and solution delivery leads to initiate projects, clearly define scope and monitor the delivery of project value compared to the promised benefits
**Essential skills & experience**:
- Identification and implementation of effective access & organisational change strategies.
- A track record of delivering results
- Experience of supplying to high value business cases & mobilising high value investments
- Experience of with third party suppliers and have strong network and consulting skills
- Relationship building skills with the ability to influence others to achieve objectives
- Consistent record to relate and respond to business needs in an IT environment
**Desireable**:
- Degree or relevant business qualification
- Knowledge of bio-pharma industry
- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams
- Agile development methodologies
