We are currently recruiting for a Sales and Logistics Coordinator (Maternity Cover) to join our site in Andover.

The Sales and Logistics Coordinator will be a key member of the team responsible for linking the customer sale to the planning team to making sure the customer has what they expect, when they expect it.

Communicating with external and internal teams will be needed to ensure the smooth operation of their service is consistent throughout every stage of the process.

Core responsibilities:

- To be the key link between Commercial Department and the Factory to ensure orders are completed and delivered when required.
- Raising orders, communicating orders to Planning, Production and Dispatch.
- Planning and coordinating overseas shipments (including courier services) via freight forwarders/logistics companies, vets, and other professional bodies.
- Creating and completing accurate shipping and commercial documentation - including bills of landing, airway bills, certificates of origin, packing lists, commercial invoices, health, and halal certificates.
- Acknowledging and ensuring the costumer is kept up to date on the status of their order.
- Coordinating with the transport manager to ensure orders are booked to go out and maximise truck space to save costs.
- Liaising with internal colleagues such as the Production, Technical, Dispatch and Account Teams to gather required information in a timely manner.
- Supporting the Sales Team and Logistics at peak times and during holidays
- Assist in the Sales Department for ad-hoc projects/tasks.
- Produce weekly sales reports with financial data.
- Support all account managers and Sales Director where required in areas such as Product Development, Market Research, Data Gathering, trend analysis and competitor information.

We are looking for someone with a “can do” attitude, keen on learning and developing, with good communication skills, able to impose good standards, whilst being reliable and thorough. High levels of motivation and the ability to work as part of a small management team are key where initiative is highly appreciated.
