**Accounts Administrator - MUST HAVE PREVIOUS ACCOUNTS EXPERIENCE - Minimum 3 years to be considered for this role**

Our client is looking for an experienced Accounts Administrator (Accounts Background) to work out of their head office at Leicester - LE18 Area to cover Maternity Leave. The length of the contract 8 months and the start date is Tuesday 15th October 2024

**Responsibilities & Duties**
- Sales/Purchase Ledger - produce/enter invoices and receipts/payments and reconcile accounts
- Credit control - chase any outstanding debt, notifying management of any issues.
- Update and reconcile Bank accounts
- Process Company Credit Card Expenses
- General Admin duties as required.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns in accordance with HMRC deadlines, ensuring compliance with VAT regulations.
- Processing of end-to-end payroll for all weekly and monthly employees ensuring a high standard of accuracy is maintained and all statutory legislation is adhered to.
- Processing all subcontractor invoices, ensuring CIS is deducted correctly.
- File CIS return monthly and make payment to HMRC
- Maintaining month cash flow forecasts
- Keeping records of expenditures on projects.
- Making all supplier payments.

**Requirements**:

- **MUST HAVE PREVIOUS ACCOUNTS EXPERIENCE - Minimum 4 years**:

- Must have experience working within construction and doing CIS returns

The pay rate offered is £12 per hour PAYE

Working hours are 3 to 4 days a week between the hours of Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00
