**Orthopaedic Team Lead | Spire Shawfair Park | Edinburgh | Full Time, No Nights**

Spire Shawfair Park are offering the opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner with experience in Orthopaedics to join us in leading the continuing growth of our services. This Team Lead position requires excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage people and contribute to the development of the department and team.

**Duties and responsibilities**:

- You will be required to provide scrub support to surgeons for a variety of orthopaedic surgeries (hip, knee, shoulder, foot and ankle).
- You will also be required to train other members of the team in scrub procedures.
- Managing the team and providing support where required.
- You will be liaising with theatre stores teams regarding stock levels.
- You will be promoting best practise and contributing towards quality improvement within the department.

**Who we're looking for**:

- NMC/ HCPC registered
- Good working knowledge of orthopaedic surgeries (specifically ortho revision).
- Flexibility to work varying shift patterns
- Willing to work collaboratively (good team player)
- The ability to plan and prioritise
