**The Elvetham Hotel**:
The Elvetham Hotel is an elegant country house hotel in Hampshire, rich in history and set in 35 acres of beautiful gardens.

The hotel is one of the most historic sites in Hampshire entwined in the British Royal Family. The site can be traced back to as early as the 800's AD.

Today the Estate consists of 91 bedrooms shared between the Main House and The Stables, as well as four unique and flexible function rooms.

**What will I be responsible for?**

Assist all guests in a sincere and courteous manner, wherever possible going the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.

Deal with guests promptly upon arrival and departure, as per SOPs for check in and out procedures.

Demonstrate a working knowledge of all services and facilities of the hotel, as well as local area therefore ensuring our guests are assisted effectively.

Professional appearance and manner to all visitors, resulting in positive PR both internally and externally.

Perform all guest accounting functions according to the Company and Hotel policies and procedures, ensuring all guest accounts are complete and accurate.

Receive and process telephone and walk in reservations accurately.

**Is this Receptionist role right for me?**

To have an in-depth knowledge of the hotel and local area.

Results focussed with an overwhelming desire to succeed.

Advanced IT skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint.

Highly self-motivated, confident, decisive and able to work with limited supervision.

Focussed on results and able to work under pressure and to challenging deadlines.
