Mechanical Estates Officer - Band 7

Location: South West London

Length of contract: Temp or Perm

Salary - Up to 50k

**Key duties**
- Responsible for the effective management of the Planned, Reactive and Remedial maintenance services. Ensure accurate records and oversight and effective planning of all activities to ensure compliance (statutory and non-statutory) and excellent customercare.
- Responsible for managing budgetary allocation in terms of maintenance, ensuring it is effectively committed and not exceeded.
- Responsible for the Performance Management for External Maintenance Providers and ensuring that agreed actions plans are monitored & reported. Ensure Contract Services and Asset schedules are correct and up to date.
- Responsible for the budgetary control of Staff Labour, Materials, Contracts, with the grades revenue signatory delegation as per Trust Standing Financial Instructions.
- Is responsible for the effective management and efficiency (productivity) of labour, service energy control, efficiency and use to ensure operational aspects of the Hospital always function safely, in a technically sound/cost effective way.
- Will be responsible for the technical oversight and occasionally the project management of a number of Capital projects for plant replacement and infrastructure upgrade/building maintenance reduction
