**The Job**

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to join our team. As the Acquiring Senior Product Owner, you will be responsible for managing the product roadmap and feature set for our card scheme's acquiring platform (Visa, Mastercard, and American Express). Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, including technology, operations, legal, and compliance, to ensure the successful delivery of the product within the defined budget and timeline.

**Responsibilities**
- Develop and manage the product roadmap, aligning it with our strategic goals, scheme compliance, and customer requirements.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify and translate business requirements into actionable product features.
- Drive decision-making processes and effectively manage senior stakeholders to maximize the value derived from the product teams' work.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the product is delivered in line with the business strategy, meeting deadlines, budget, and quality standards.
- Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify potential product opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Prioritize product features and ensure their timely and efficient delivery.
- Manage the flow of work into the product teams, considering their capacity and negotiating when necessary, while effectively managing stakeholder expectations.
- Define product success metrics, track performance, and leverage data-driven insights to guide future product decisions.
- Take ownership of end-to-end delivery of roadmap initiatives, supporting the creation of internal and external documentation for successful handovers to customer success and service management teams.
- Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including customers, partners, and schemes, to understand their needs and ensure their satisfaction with the product.
- Contribute ideas to technical discussions with the team and challenge overdesign to align with key business deliverables.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices, incorporating them into the product development process as applicable.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, collaborating closely with the compliance team to identify and manage risks.

**Qualifications**
- 5+ years of experience in product management, preferably in payments or financial services.
- Strong understanding of card schemes and the payments industry, including emerging technologies and key trends.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects involving cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively.
- Strong analytical skills, leveraging data to drive informed product decisions.
- Experience working in Agile development methodologies and thriving in a fast-paced, iterative environment.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as business, finance, or computer science (a master's degree is a plus).
