HR & Recruitment Coordinator

**Job Title: HR & Recruitment Co-ordinator**

**Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9.00am to 17.00pm**

**Location: Pendeford Business Park, Wolverhampton, WV9 5HB**

**Salary: £24,000-£26,000, Depending on Experience**

**WHAT WILL YOUR DAY LOOK LIKE?**

**Recruitment & Onboarding**
- Facilitate onboarding and induction, ensuring new hires feel welcomed and well-prepared for their new role.

**HR Administration & Record Keeping**
- Maintain and update employee records in the HR system, ensuring accuracy and compliance with data protection guidelines.
- Assist in preparing HR reports and metrics related to recruitment tracking, employee onboarding and workforce planning.
- Provide administrative support across the HR department, including processing contracts, letters and other HR-related documentation.

**Compliance & Policy Adherence**
- Stay updated on changes to employment laws and regulations, ensuring all HR practices adhere to compliance standards.
- Support HR policies and procedures in line with public sector regulations, ensuring consistency and transparency across the organisation.

**Collaboration & Employee Engagement**
- Work closely with the HR team and hiring managers to align workforce needs and support recruitment strategies.
- Assist with HR initiatives aimed at employee engagement, training, diversity and inclusion.
- Act as a go-to point of contact for HR-related queries and provide guidance where needed.

**Continuous Improvement**
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of HR systems and practices to enhance efficiency and employee satisfaction.
- Assist in coordinating HR projects that promote a positive and supportive work environment.

**WHAT BACKGROUND DO I NEED TO HAVE?**
- A qualification in HR or a related field
- CIPD Level 3 or equivalent or working towards.
- Minimum of 2 years experience in HR and Recruitment, preferably in an academic setting.
