As a Finance Analyst - Hybrid working you will be joining a large and multifaceted team with lots of scope to progress and develop your skills. You will be part of a team that is redesigning the finance systems including reporting and you will supportingall operational teams including Finance and Customer Services.

**Client Details**

The client has recently relocated in Wales and has spent the last 3 years developing a technology hub here in Cardiff to put AI and automation right at the heart of it's finance function.

**Description**

As the Finance Analyst - Hybrid working you would:

- Liaison with and management of external clients and service provider interactions providing a professional and timely response.
- Completion of job specific activities comprise of complex financial transaction processing, proactive management of reconciliations and exception transactions, receipting and payment management, specialist finance administration duties, authorisation oftransactions to ensure appropriate control and segregation of duties and internal audit responsibilities.
- Production of high quality MI for internal and external recipients together with production of intelligent and coherent business documents as required
- Design, prepare and produce regular and ad hoc, accurate and timely Reporting for our customers
- Co-ordinate, recommend, request, prioritise and review any ideas for improvement, changes or developments to reports and business tools obtained while pro-actively monitoring and reducing errors and omissions in all reports
- Analyse, interpret, challenge and provide insights and intelligence surrounding trends and potential issues to improve the Governance Reports, controls and customer service
- Maintain a good working knowledge of the relevant pension regulations and compliance requirements, including complaint handling, and breach reporting
- Prepare complex ad-hoc requirements to assist customers with their needs in a professional format
- Create & Implement system and reporting developments to deliver streamlined processes, reports and efficencies

**Profile**
- Excellent relationship management skills
- Able to analyse and interpret Management Information including Financial Reports
- Good understanding of Excel (V-Look Ups, Pivot Tables, Macros)
- Good understanding of the pensions industry
- Understanding of regulatory environment

**Job Offer**

The successful Finance Analyst - Hybrid working will:

- Be Based in Cardiff
- Received upto £34,000 DOE
- 25 days holiday plus bank holidays
