**Pension Administrator - Mercer - Remote / Homeworker**
**Note: This role can be based anywhere in the UK**
This role is at the very core of Mercer Services within the Wealth arm of our business supporting Members, Trustees and Clients. The main purpose of this role is to work as part of a team that lead on projects, providing an accurate, reliable, and high standard of data and de-risking solutions to Trustees, third parties and internal teams alike. Perhaps you have extensive experience as a Pension Administrator and want a new change/challenge. Or maybe you’re looking for a change of pace with a company that are market leaders and would like some versatility of clients but still with a community office feel. **What can you expect?**
- You will be leading pensions administration, data cleansing and data de-risking projects as part of a specialist pension administration projects team
- Supporting other members of the team by acting as a role model, mentor, and quality champion
- You will require an adaptable and innovative approach to problem solving and the ability to build relationships based on honesty, respect, and encouragement to achieve success.

**We will rely on you to**:
- Create, implement, and report progress against specific project plans which are aligned to the overall team strategy and the client’s expectations.
- Regularly complete and share effective project updates highlighting progress, achievements, and the future priorities.
- Actively support the team by sharing knowledge from your own experience to help colleagues deliver consistent client satisfaction.
- Act as a mentor and role model for the team, knowing when to support and challenge others to help create a high performing but fun working environment.
- Quickly identify and analyse risks in pension scheme data, which may impact on effective project delivery and offers cost effective and timely solutions to ensure projects remain on track.
- Ensure pension calculations and records are undertaken promptly and accurately to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Support the Client Service Managers by providing routine updates which are accurate and informative.
- Show flexibility in the method of communication to ensure all stakeholders are kept informed and are satisfied with the service levels.
- Undertake, delegate, and review operational tasks as appropriate to ensure all projects are achieving the deadlines, budgets, and quality standards.
- Maintain accurate records to evidence the progress and profit of each project.
**What you need to have**:
- Broad understanding of pensions processes and legislation and the principles underpinning them.
- Strong Excel skills
- Experience and proficiency in working effectively in a project-based team
**What makes you stand out**:
- Strong all round pension administration knowledge / experience
- Has experience of relevant financial services, outsourcing or project management role.
- Previous experience working in a discontinuance or de-risking-based role
