In this Senior Business Development Executive position, you will be joining an international consultancy firm. The firm operates under 5 different verticals to provide business growth management and technology solutions to a wide variety of clients.
You will specifically be working under a sector specialist cloud-based CRM to automate business processes. The software connects everything in one place, allowing for efficiency in reporting, audit, marketing and generating business. They have helped a numberof small businesses thrive.
Their head office is based in Preston and you will be based here.
Job description - Senior Business Development Executive
The role of a Senior Business Development Executive is primarily responsible for achieving both new sales opportunity creation, and sales revenue targets, from new logo & existing customer cross-sell & up-sell sales within a defined territory. Sales pipelineis generated through a combination of self-generated pipelines and inbound leads generated through digital marketing efforts. You will attend face-to-face customer & prospect meetings (when necessary) from appointments both self-generated and those generatedby the assigned Account Manager.
Key responsibilities - Senior Business Development Executive
In this Senior Business Development Executive role, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing an assigned territory of clients and growing the pipeline for that territory
- Lead generation
- Leading demonstrations (over video and in person) - being involved throughout sales cycle
- Managing existing accounts and upselling
- Proactively prospect to find new contacts and opportunities by leveraging search engines, LinkedIn, social media, business indexes
- Manage and maintain accurate account and opportunity details in the company CRM system
- Provide accurate quarterly, monthly, and weekly forecasts on deals
- Be a coach & mentor

- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Experience cold-calling and hitting sales targets
- Strong influence and negotiation skills with key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
- Commercial acumen with the ability to think creatively and strategically

- Strong technical acumen to demo products and participate in technical conversations
