In this exciting new role, you will be responsible for the metadata management and data governance framework within the company, taking ownership in a growing function.

**THE COMPANY**

This respected financial services business is looking for a new data governance specialist to be an instrumental component in metadata management. Due to growth, there is an increased demand for a strong data office to underpin operation practices. You willalso be a key driver for change, coordinating the roadmap and decision-making associated with metadata management activities.

**THE ROLE**

You will be responsible for:

- The ownership of the data domain conceptual framework
- Metadata Management
- Making processes automated for more analysis, with increasing data coming on board
- Working with lots of stakeholders (on a global scale)
- Providing business support related to metadata assets

**SKILLS REQUIRED**
- Strong understanding of data management principles
- Relevant experience in a similar role/demonstrated experience in data-related projects
- Excellent communication skills for stakeholder management
- Project management experience would be beneficial
