As a Assistant Contracts Manager at Sunrise Facilities Management, you will work with the contracts management team to procure and manage our supply chain of service and maintenance contractors. Ensuring the efficient and effective delivery of service and maintenance across our client buildings.
You will work closely with our internal teams and our clients to negotiate, implement, and oversee repairs and maintenance contracts that support the smooth operation of our client facilities.
**Please note before applying, this is a full time role with all blend of circa 80% office based and 20% visiting contractor and client sites. Admin on days out of the office can be completed at home, however normal full days are office based. Additionally 1 weekend day in 8 is required to be worked in the office (1 day a month).**

**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Contract Negotiation and Procurement**:
- Support with negotiations with contractors, and service providers to secure favourable terms and conditions for facility-related contracts.
- Support with the procurement of maintenance contractors to optimise selection and contract pricing.
- **Contract Management**:
- Manage the end-to-end facilities contracts, including contract drafting, review, execution, and administration.
- Monitor contractor performance and compliance with contractual obligations, Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- **Vendor and Supplier Relations**:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and high-quality service delivery.
- Address contractor performance issues and resolve disputes in accordance with contract terms and company policies.
- **Facility Maintenance and Operations**:
- Oversee facility maintenance contracts, including M&E services, HVAC maintenance, and building repairs.
- Coordinate with internal facilities management teams to ensure alignment between contract requirements and operational needs.
- **Budget Management**:
- Monitor client budgets to ensure cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial objectives.
- Review and approve invoices, purchase orders, and financial reports related to facility contracts.
- **Risk Management**:
- Support in the management of risk in delivery of facility contracts, including insurances, H&S policies and RAMS.
- Support with risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to address potential issues proactively.
**Qualifications**:
- Preferred qualification in a building and / or mechanical related discipline
- Proven experience of at least 3 years in facilities management, contract management or procurement.
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of facility operations, maintenance practices, and regulatory requirements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritise workload effectively.
- Experience with CAFM systems or CMMS systems
