**Based - Killingworth, Newcastle**

**Hours - Full-Time 37hrs per week**

**Salary - £ DOE**

Metnor Construction are a progressive, forward thinking construction business with construction sites throughout the UK. This is a fast-paced working environment, working on a wide range of projects ranging from £1m-£50m within Student Accommodation, PRS, Care Homes, Data Centres and the Leisure Sector.

We now require a highly motivated Aftercare Coordinator to join our team. This role will oversee projects from date of practical completion through to obtaining the certificate of making good from the client's representative. General site handyperson duties will also be required.

**Responsibilities / Key Duties**:

- Interacting with the client on a one-to-one basis
- Taking receipt of defects and determining if legitimate
- Arranging and managing labour and sub-contractors to rectify defects and reporting back to the client when work is complete
- Liaise with sites to obtain and verify account documentation
- Snagging / Finishing works
- Tracking / logging / reporting on all works scheduled and completed
- General site handyperson duties
- **Weekly travel to sites across the country will be required**

**Qualifications/Requirements**:

- Demonstratable experience and skills within similar role
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong communication skills, especially client facing
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Snagging / finishing experience
- Good reporting / paperwork skills
- Fluent in Microsoft office programs, including Excel
