We are working with a fantastic charity operating in the brain injury space, who are seeking a compassionate, organised and tech-confident Administration Assistant to support the charity's mission of improving the lives of people affected by brain injury.

Due to the growing demand for brain injury support services and the expansion of the charity's community programmes, we are excited to welcome someone who can provide reliable administrative, digital, and communication support to the charity's Trustees, team members, volunteers, and clients.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in a small, friendly, purpose-driven charity where your work genuinely makes a difference every day.

The charity is dedicated to helping individuals living with brain injury rebuild their lives through rehabilitation, peer support, community projects, and meaningful activities.

The brain injury charity works with clients, families, clinicians, volunteers, and partner organisations across the UK, offering a supportive network that encourages hope, independence, and long-term recovery.

This role would be perfect for someone with strong administrative experience who enjoys supporting people, staying organised, and keeping systems running smoothly.

The charity is looking for someone who:

- Has previous experience in administration, coordination, or office support;
- Is confident with digital tools including Microsoft Office, OneDrive, Outlook and Zoom;
- Can update website content (no coding required just confidence with simple CMS tools);
- Can assist with scheduling and monitoring social media posts;
- Has excellent communication, grammar, and attention to detail;
- Is calm, positive, reliable and comfortable handling sensitive information;
- Can prioritise tasks, manage their own workload and work well independently;
- Enjoys working as part of a supportive, mission-led charity team.

**Requirements**:
**You must have**:

- Excellent organisational and communication skills;
- Strong digital confidence and willingness to learn new systems;
- Experience with Microsoft Office, cloud storage platforms, and online tools;
- Ability to manage confidential information responsibly;
- A positive, supportive manner and strong levels of initiative;
**It would also be an advantage if you have**:

- Experience with website CMS platforms;
- Experience scheduling or monitoring social media posts;
- Experience in a charity or health-related setting;
- Basic knowledge of Canva or similar design tools (not essential).

**Key Responsibilities**

You will be responsible for supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the charity, including:

- Creating documents, minutes, reports, and communications to a high standard;
- Supporting audits, simple financial tasks, tracking spreadsheets, and data accuracy;
- Assisting with onboarding of clients, team members and volunteers;
- Maintaining and updating the charity’s website content (training provided);
- Helping schedule and monitor social media posts and activity;
- Supporting online meetings, training sessions, and digital communication platforms;
- Providing compassionate communication to clients and families;
- Contributing to the wider team’s workload as needed.

**Job Type: Part Time/ Hybrid Working**

**Hours**:
20 Hours per week
