**You will be responsible for**:

- Assisting the school’s senior managers to use IT effectively
- Supporting staff with general ICT tasks, including scanning, spreadsheet input, etc
- Managing the school IT Suite and working with groups of children
- Maintaining the school website, ensuring that all the information contained therein is up to date and relevant including uploading photos
- Liaising with the IT curriculum provider
- Assisting with producing photographs of school events for displays, etc
- Assisting with keeping up to date the information displayed on the LCD screen for viewing by parents and visitors to the school
- Undertaking administrative procedures with regard to IT such as producing lists/information/data as required, eg pupil data
- Other duties commensurate with the general level of responsibility of the post which may be delegated by the Headteacher
- Operating relevant equipment/ICT packages (e.g. word, excel, databases, spreadsheets, internet)
- Maintaining IT stock and supplies, cataloguing and distributing as required
- Providing general IT advice and guidance to staff, pupils and others

**Entry requirements**:

- GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

**Working week**:
37.5 hours per week, 9am - 5:30pm

**Important information**:
QA’s apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education. To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
