We are recruiting for a **Non-Foods Buyer** to join our Supply Chain team _on a 12-month fixed term contract_, to support our ongoing growth here are the Big Table Group.

The Big Table is one of the leading independent restaurant companies in the UK. We operate some of the most recognisable and loved restaurant brands to be found anywhere in the eating-out market, such as Bella Italia, Banana Tree, Café Rouge, Las Iguanas, Frankie & Benny’s and Chiquito. We operate over 230 restaurant sites in a variety of locations including leisure parks, shopping centres and high streets.

You’ll be based in our London Support centre, which is just 5 minutes’ walk away from Oxford Circus. Our teams work in a hybrid way, so while you’ll be in the office on some days during week, you can work from home the rest of the time.

We’re offering a starting **salary** of up to £55,000 for the 12-month contract plus some fantastic perks & benefits.

What does the role involve?

This new role will play a crucial part in supporting our 230 restaurants in procurement of non-food items.

Key Responsibilities:

- Procure non-food items such as tableware, cutlery, glassware, cookware, chemicals, packaging and consumables.
- Negotiate contracts and manage non-food services that are supplied to our restaurants.
- Collaborate with suppliers to negotiate pricing and ensure quality standards are met.
- Manage inventory levels, optimize stock turnover, and minimize waste.
- Keep up to date with market trends to identify new products and suppliers.
- Work closely with our restaurant brand teams to fulfil their non-food item requirements.

To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate:

- Previous experience in procurement, preferably in the restaurant, retail or hospitality industry.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical and detail-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with industry standards and trends.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (preferred).
