We’re looking for a talented Non-Food Buyer to take ownership of sourcing all centralised non-food products and services – from crockery and glassware to laundry, cleaning, and gardening services. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact by negotiating great deals, building strong supplier relationships, and ensuring our pubs and hotels receive exceptional service. What you’ll do: Source non-food products and services that meet business needs, balancing cost, quality, logistics, sustainability, and catalogue size. Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable, high-performing supply base. Collaborate with Operations, Marketing, and other teams to understand requirements and resolve issues quickly. Negotiate contracts and pricing, conduct benchmarking, and optimise profitability without compromising quality. Monitor supplier performance and drive continuous improvement toward service excellence and sustainability goals. Manage pricing to control inflation, forecast risks and opportunities, and support budget planning. Lead tender processes and deliver an 18-month rolling tender plan. Maintain accurate records of pricing, rebates, contracts, and supplier/product information. What we’re looking for: Previous experience as a buyer or in a similar procurement role within a multi-site business. Strong negotiation, influencing, and relationship-building skills. Excellent communication and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proactive, resourceful, and analytical with strong problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). CIPS qualification is advantageous; hospitality experience is a bonus. Why join Fuller’s?
