As a Cover Supervisor, you will play a vital role in supporting schools by supervising classes in the absence of the regular teacher. Your main responsibility will be to ensure that pre-set work is completed by students and maintain a positive learning environment. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in pursuing a career in education or gaining experience working with young people.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Supervise and manage the behavior of students in the classroom, ensuring a safe and productive learning environment.
- Provide support and assistance to students, helping them to understand the assigned tasks.
- Encourage student engagement and maintain high levels of student participation.
- Manage any classroom disruptions effectively and in accordance with school policies.
- Complete necessary administrative tasks, such as taking attendance and reporting on student progress.

**Requirements**:

- A bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification is desirable but not essential.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with students effectively.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- The ability to adapt to different classroom environments and work collaboratively with school staff.
- A passion for education and a desire to inspire and motivate students.
- Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.

**Salary**: £90.00-£120.00 per day

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Dudley, DY1 1PR: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- GCSE or equivalent (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Childcare: 1 year (preferred)
