Strategy and Operations Associate, Marketing

Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Experience in analytical work in strategy consulting, corporate strategy, marketing/sales, or a business operations and analytics environment.
Preferred qualifications:
- Proficiency in translating data into actionable insights and digestible formats for the business.
- Ability to think, plan, and execute on multiple projects simultaneously in an organized fashion, while acting as an effective team player who can lead efforts across disciplines.
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, influence, and drive stakeholder alignment.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in a fast-changing environment, with an entrepreneurial approach.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, analytical skills, and business acumen.
**About the job**:
The Business Strategy & Operations organization provides business critical insights using analytics, ensures cross functional alignment of goals and execution, and helps teams drive strategic partnerships and new initiatives forward. We stay focused on aligning the highest-level company priorities with effective day-to-day operations, and help evolve early stage ideas into future-growth initiatives.
As part of the Central Marketing Strategy and Operations team, our mission is to help the EMEA Marketing organization grow and operate efficiently. In this role, you will improve operational processes, lead analysis and initiatives for internal organization improvements that span multiple product areas.

**Responsibilities**:
- Deploy strategic planning and management consulting frameworks to identify opportunities for impact and efficiencies.
- Provide ad hoc data-driven strategy recommendations to leadership based on analysis, experience, and business/technical acumen.
- Help run core operations/business cadence connected to operating processes and tools for effectively managing the organization.
- Partner closely across many functions both within Marketing and with other parts of Google.
- Partner with Finance and HR to effectively allocate and manage headcount and related labor costs, ensure people and project reporting is maintained.
