We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Head of Account Management to join an established Wealth Management firm based in Altrincham. Salary up to £60k plus excellent benefits, this is flexible for the right person.

This role would suit an experienced account manager with a financial services background or a compliance person who has had direct client experience who wants a change of role. Must have good managerial experience and data analysis skills.

**About the role**

Head of Account Management will be responsible for managing the account management team in delivering the best possible support for our clients and will be proactive in suggesting improvements to our services and troubleshooting issues with our website orservice contracts.

**Key responsibilities and accountabilities**

This is a broad / adaptive role - focusing on providing the best support possible for clients.

You will be required to:

- Manage the account management team, ensuring client queries are dealt with promptly with a comprehensive response.
- Engage with key client accounts, developing the relationship and recommending services as appropriate.
- Pro-active client contact to retain relationships and gather feedback to develop the firms proposition
- Manage project agreements, liaising with heads of departments and manging client expectations.
- Dealing with product providers to obtain the best possible enhanced protection commission rates, and ensure an ongoing positive relationship.
- Liaise with the Finance department to drive revenue
- Support, and potential host some of the firm’s events, where required.
- Conduct data analysis to assess client usage of services, and identify need for pro-active contact for client segments.
- Deliver demonstrations of the portal to support the sales team

**Qualifications/Experience**
- Good understanding of the adviser / investment management / platform market place
- Excellent Microsoft Office suite skills - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
- Good understanding of the regulatory system - SYSC/COBS/T&C/Conflicts of Interest/Complaints is an advantage
- Ability to listen
- A 'consultative’ approach to dealing with clients
- Ability to think critically and solve problems is vital. A situation will not always be black and white and you will need to be able to make an informed, intelligent and practical decision
- Good communication skills verbal and written formats - for internal and external clients
- Attention to detail is a must

**Other considerations**
- Travel - The role is office based, though on occasions some travel may be required - client visits or event attendance to support the role / business
